Driving lessons in St Ives

Your local driving instructor will pick you up from your chosen location to start your driving lessons. Lessons can be conducted over 1 hour, 1.5 hours or 2 hours. Your driving lesson may start in a quiet area if you have no previous experience and when you become more confident, your instructor will guide you around the test routes of Cambridge. Our driving instructors are friendly, patient and instill confidence in our learners. This with our excellent teaching methods is what provides us with a high first time test pass rate. Your driving lesson can be finished in a different location if desired.

Intensive driving courses St Ives

Our driving instructors are highly experienced in intensive courses. Learners often reach test standard in around 30 hours with Cambridge Driving School. The national average is 45 hours. Often an assessment lesson is taken before the intensive initiates to establish how many hours you will need. Your intensive course can be taken in a single week or taken over a longer period if needed. The intensive course will be taken with the same driving instructor throughout the course and the very same tuition car will be used on the driving test.

Pass Plus courses St Ives

Pass Plus is a short 6 hour course suitable for those that wish to increase their driving skills and confidence. Discount can be made off your car insurance premium once the course has been completed. No test is to be taken upon completion of Pass Plus courses as the final grading is made by our Pass Plus registered driving instructors.

Refresher lessons St Ives

If you feel that you have lost confidence in your driving ability, have not driven in a while or have not driven around the roads of St Ives or Cambridge, a short refresher course is ideal. Refresher courses usually take from around 3 to 5 hours.
